Air Italy Paramotors
Air Italy is one of the most well respected brands in paramotoring. Their carbon frame and paramotor combinations are very strong and lightweight. They also offer a wide choice of engines, so you can choose the right amount of power for your goals. The Delta magnesium frame weighs just 19 KG with the Nitro 200 engine fitted. This makes it one of the lightest paramotors available. But don’t let its size fool you, the Delta is still super strong. And it is easy to transport. It breaks down easily and fits into the boot of a small car. Another Italian brand to look out for is Parajet. They have an impressive range of paramotors, all designed with safety in mind. They use a laminate composite back shell to protect the pilots spine in the event of a crash, and they offer both manual and electric start. The electric starter makes it much easier to start the motor on the ground, which helps prevent propeller injuries (the number one cause of injury in paramotoring). Parajet’s most popular model is the Instinct High-Line. This is a good all round unit with a choice of low or mid hang points, and a choice of Carbon-Kevlar or Aluminium frame. The Instinct High-Line also comes with a removable fuel tank and added frame supports. Giá vé lặn biển Nha Trang of flexibility and strength makes the Instinct a great choice for new pilots. Scout is another highly respected brand, with their aerodynamic airfoil shaped profiles helping to eliminate torque. Their units are also very strong, with the carbon cage being super lightweight and designed to take some big impacts. Their Carbon cage is available with a choice of engines including the popular Vittorazi Moster 185. They also have a safe start feature, which stops the engine revving uncontrollably during startup, and prevents propeller injuries. Nirvana is another manufacturer that is renowned for their quality, and their Nirvana NS 160 is no exception. This unit uses a special system they call “Twist air” that reduces engine torque at all speeds and RPMs. This is a big benefit for pilots who want to fly in turbulent conditions or on rough terrain. Bassano is a well known Italian launch site, and a favourite for northern European pilots looking for a warm spring or autumn thermal season. The protected micro-climate here enables a mix of Alpine ridge surfing and flatland cloud hopping. It is also well connected to the rail network, making it easy to get home even if you have a bad flight, and the locals are used to seeing pilots so hitching is often possible. A word of caution, if you fly in Italy, it is very important that you buy a local FlyCard before flying. These cost a few euros and are available at most of the launch sites. You will need this to prove you are a paying member of the club in case you land out and need helicopter rescue. It is also a good idea to carry a green smoke flare, which you can buy for a few euros at most of the flying shops.
